University College London (UCL) is big enough to be a whopper university on its own. Most students think they’re going to like the laidback atmosphere of the place and it rarely disappoints. Despite its rep as a home for Oxbridge rejects, it’s now first choice for more and more students. Very good English dept with lots of international students, (mostly) great teaching. Although, it is in one of the most run-down teaching blocks at UCL - kinda ugly. But it's near to ULU and Waterstones
